Dycon valves are manufactured with
ASTM pressure containment materials, tested in accordance with ASME
section VIII of the specification and fully functionally tested before
dispatch.
The unique pressure balance of the valve allows the regulator to be
both internally and externally sensed - providing for various
different types of control modes, some of which include pilot valves,
loading regulators and P.I.P.
The flow coefficients of the valves are among the highest for balanced
regulators which, when sized correctly, allows for a cost to size
saving in the order of 20%.
Flowing velocities are not restricted
due to the unique design principles employed within the valve, some
of which include heavy guiding of the main piston and bushing of the
spindle, thus reducing vibration to a minimum.
Ratings of the valves conform to two standards namely 300# and 1500#
ANSI class and are manufactured from a variety of materials.
